Ingredients
One of the things we like about this recipe is that the ingredients are so mix-and-match! FLOUR Switch out the whole wheat flour for regular all purpose if it’s what you have on hand. Tips for the Best Homemade Oatmeal Bars
Try toasting the rolled oats on a baking sheet so they stay extra crunchy and firm when used in the rest of the recipe. Line the pan with parchment paper to make the bars easy to lift out and cut. Keep bars in an airtight container at room temperature for about 4 days. Ensure they’re cooled completely before storing. Freeze peanut butter oatmeal bars between sheets of parchment paper in zippered bags with the date labeled on them. They should keep about 8 weeks in the freezer. Let them come to room temperature and serve.
