Water: I have used water to make this drink. If you want to be more fancy, you can use soda, sparkling water, or even white fizzy drinks like Sprite or 7 Up. Ginger: Use fresh and firm ginger make sure the skin of the ginger is without any mold or dark spots. Lemon juice: Freshly squeezed lenmon juice will make all the difference. Avoid pre made or artificial flavours. Honey: This ginger lemonade is sugar-free as I avoid white sugar. I used honey, but you can definitely substitute it with jaggery or maple syrup. Black salt: It is also known as Kala Namak or Himalayan black salt, easily available at Indian or Pakistani grocery stores. This ingredient helps to mellow down the tartness and bitterness of the drink. Cumin: I have used ground and roasted cumin. You can skip this if you want.. Ice cubes: To chill this drink.
